HGVC provides certified forklift and other construction and plant operator training across UK, ranging from the most common types, Counterbalance and Reach to Multi-directional and Very Narrow Aisle. With over 180 training locations across the UK, we will be able to find the right course at the right location to suit you.
These are the most commonly found Forklift trucks in the UK. They are compact, straightforward machines that can be driven right up to the target load. As the name suggests, the load at the front is counterbalanced by the weight of the truck at the back.
These trucks operate a little differently to counterbalance trucks as they can reach forward once a load has been picked up. They are ideal for moving items from shelf to shelf inside a warehouse (vertically and horizontally) setting them apart from counterbalance trucks.

The most complex of the forklift trucks. This takes two weeks to master, but offers serious rewards in the job market

A vehicle designed for carrying bulk material, often on building sites. Usually an open 4-wheeled vehicle with the load skip in front of the driver.
Excavators are popular earthmoving vehicles that feature a bucket, arm, rotating cab and movable tracks.
